Residents of all ages share our urban cohousing community in Santa Rosa, California. The 29 individually owned condominiums and townhomes surround a lush green courtyard. Bold, colorful, architect-designed buildings are built around a central courtyard to encourage connections with neighbors and provide a play area for children.
Owners and renters share the ownership, management and maintenance of our shared spaces: the large Common House (with kitchen, multi-purpose room, library, kid's playroom and laundry room), well-equipped workshop, guest and exercise rooms, outdoor playground, EV charging hookups, covered parking areas, outdoor landscaping and bountiful fruit trees, vegetable gardens and sustainable, drought-tolerant, green spaces. Solar panels generate electricity for our shared spaces, and a well provides water for our landscaping.
Units range in size from studios to four bedrooms. Some first-floor units offer wheelchair accessible features. Homes feature:

The Common House
The large Common House provides a well-stocked community kitchen and dining room-multipurpose room for community meals, meetings and social events (ping pong and foosball are fun favorites). There's also a laundry room, kids’ playroom, and a library-living room for small gatherings, such as book groups or movie nights.
The Workshop A separate building with tools for hands-on projects such as woodworking, bicycle and other repairs and arts and crafts.
The Guest Room Residents' friends and family enjoy a comfortable place to stay for short visits.
The Exercise Room Residents keep healthy using the treadmill, elliptical and rowing machines, recumbent bike, punching bag and weight equipment.
Gardening Space and Bike Storage We share tools for work on individual vegetable gardens and our beautiful community landscaping. Our urban oasis includes mature fruit trees and plantings that are drought-tolerant and attract all kinds of pollinators. Our property is adjacent to a planned public Greenway that is likely to include bike lanes, playing fields and more. Bike owners can access locked storage rooms. Trione-Annadel State Park, a mile away, has great walking and mountain biking trails.
