            yulupa cohousing

   We are a diverse group of people enjoying our urban cohousing community in Santa Rosa, California since July 2005.  Yulupians range in age from 3 to 80 years, with 40 adults, 5 teens, and 9 younger children.

        At Yulupa we live in 29 homes (studio to 4 bedroom) and share a Common House (with kitchen, multi-purpose room, library, kids play room, and laundry room), a workshop, guest and exercise rooms, kids play structure, and a vegetable garden with fruit trees.

    From our Common House we watch beautiful sunsets. 

The eastern view provides gorgeous sunrises over Bennett Mountain.

yulupa is a Native American word that means something that is bright and shiny, like water, sunsets, and crystals.
